Do you know an adult who is ashamed of their inability to ride a bike? Do you yourself struggle to stay upright on two wheels? Don’t worry. Help is at hand!

You may have watched toddlers using those ‘strider’ balance bikes with jealousy in the past, as they learn with ease what it feels like to get up to speed on two wheels, but now GlideCycle has created an adult-sized version especially for you, as a stepping stone to riding a real bike.

Happy days.

Oh, and it costs $1,649 for a basic model. The "GlidesDale", for hefty individuals, costs over $2,000.I could rig up a couple of bent pipes, a canvas strap and some pram wheels for under $40.

I changed the video Kurt added because I think this one better captures what the glidecycle is.Sera, we'll have one built for you by the time you arrive in October.

That video is awesome. I especially like the bit near the end where he stops and stands up, his GlideCycle flopping uselessly near his feet while still attached to his crotch. How to look like a total douche.
