The Odd Fellows of Davis, whose Oct. 3 bike parade was planned to achieve Guinness Book of Records status for its number of participants, recently learned that the town of Udine, Italy, had amassed 48,615 for a parade. Davis Bicycle Parade Committee chairman Frank Giustino had been under the impression that the record was 3,515 bikes during a parade in Bangkok, Thailand.
