The pro-tour Peloton will be rolling through Sacramento on Sunday. Stage 1 of the 2010 Amgen Tour of California begins in Nevada City and finishes with 3 laps around downtown and what should be a bunch sprint to the finish line on L street.
The Lifestyle Festival begins at 11:00 and should provide you all with plenty of opportunity to drool over bikes you can’t afford. Here’s the full schedule for what’s going on downtown:
- 11:00 AM festival Opens on 10th Street
- 11:00 AM Sacramento Grand Prix
- 1:15 PM Sacramento Community Ride – 13th and L Street
- 3:15 PM Amgen Tour of California enters Downtown Circuit
- 4:15 PM Race Ends
- 4:30 PM Awards Ceremony – 11th and L Street
And don’t forget about the Bicycle Film Festival this weekend too.
